This FIBRE-METAL 52090 Tigerhood Futura Speedy Loop Mount Thermoplastic Welding Hood with a Fixed 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" Lens is molded from Noryl, a job proven material that boasts superior welding related performance characteristics. The black molded-in color eliminates chipping, peeling and fading. This smooth, seamless shell effortlessly deflects sparks and spatter reducing the risk of burn through. This Tigerhood Welding Helmet also features an exclusive airflow design that provides extended throat protection while blocking fumes and smoke from the face. The size and the shape of this welding shield allows air to circulate, to help clear any smoke and fumes that could seep in to the helmet, (if hazardous fumes are present, appropriate respirators must be worn,) good air circulation is important and additionally aids in the evaporation of perspiration. The perforated sweatband provides a cooling effect and also adds comfort as does the unique 3C Free-Floating Headgear equipped with multiple adjustments that comfortably will accomodate protective spectacles and or respirators. This hood comes complete with an easy-to-use front-loading fixed glassholder, over 24 square inches of unobstructed viewing capability through a Shade 10 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" installed gray filter plate and a Speedy Loop Mount attachment for FIBRE-METAL Hardhats (hardhats sold separately).
