The Guardian G1562 15 Gallon Portable Drench Hose/Eyewash is self-contained and is ideal where a continuous supply of potable water is not available. These units may be used in low traffic areas, low-hazard areas or where installation of plumbed equipment is not cost effective. 15-gallon units provide approximately 10 usable gallons of water for effective rinsing of the eyes, face or body. Note that, under ANSI Z358.1-2004, drench hose units supplement but do not replace other types of emergency equipment. This eyewash meets ANSI Class I Standards. Sold individually.

Features:

Tank: 15 Gallon stainless steel pressurized tank that has built-in carrying handles, an air intake fitting, a pressure gauge and a pressure relief valve

The tank has approximately 10 gallons of usable capacity

Eyewash Unit: Two GS-Plus spray heads each with a flip-top dust cover, internal flow control and filter, a 1/2" IPS chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve with flag handle and a pressure regulator that controls the eyewash flow to 0.65 GPM for 15 minutes

Drench Hose: Single GS-Plus spray head with a flip-top dust cover, an internal flow control and filter with a chrome plated brass squeeze valve with stainless steel lever handle and 6' of reinforced PVC hose

Operation: To operate this unit, fill it with clean potable water and add the bacteriostatic additive (supplied with the unit) this additive protects against growth of bacteria, fungus, algae and acanthamoeba inside of the unit, after filling with water, pressurize the unit to 80 PSI air pressure and if necessary adjust the pressure regulator to achieve maximum flow for 15 minutes

This unit should be inspected regularly and the water in the unit should be changed at least once every six months, (filling instructions are included) Quality Assurance: Unit is completely assembled, pressurized and water tested prior to shipment, the unit is depressurized and emptied prior to shipping, some assembly is required

This unit comes with a full two-year warranty from the manufacturer
